Format your text with Markdown
Markdown is a simple language for formatting texts or documents. It was developed by John Gruber to easily apply HTML formatting. boad automatically provides you with a comfortable Markdown editor that allows you to add formatting at the click of a button. Use the toolbar for this:
The symbols stand for:
- B - ["bold"] bold text
- I - ["italics"] italic text
- H - ["heading"] heading - click the button multiple times to subdivide your headings (e.g. clicking 3 times creates a 3rd level heading)
- " - The quotation marks represent a quote
- Unordered List - inserts an unordered list
- Numbered List - inserts a numbered list
- Horizontal Line - inserts a horizontal line, for example to separate points
- Link - links text to the specified target address
- Image - inserts an image, the image must be accessible via the internet with a unique URL!
- Table - inserts a table
- Preview - shows a preview

Add color with styles
Through your board's dropdown menu, you can create card styles with which you can colorfully design your cards. The following screenshots and videos show you how to do it.
